Business Opportunity
Based in Ottawa, the Canadian Boreal Initiative focused on creating new solutions for Boreal Forest conservation by linking science, policy and conservation activities. The organization was faced with the business objective of building advocacy in Ottawa at the Federal level by bringing awareness to the boreal conservation cause and showcasing the social investments being made by the high-profile national partners.
As the Account Executive at a boutique Vancouver ad agency, Nathan was responsible for managing the pre-production and production phases of television advertising that would air nationally; including budget management, client engagement, set scouting, coordinating talent acquisition, logistics planning, collaborating with the Art Director on concept as well as supporting the Director of Photography, production crew and agency owner.
Actions + Outcomes
The project was completed on time and budget.
The television advertising aired repeatedly at the national level over several months as part of a larger campaign to drive advocacy and political support. Networks that broadcasted the campaign included, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) and BNN Bloomberg.
